Baher Azmy is the Legal Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, where he directs all litigation and advocacy around issues related to the promotion of civil and human rights. At CCR, he has litigated landmark cases related to discriminatory policing practices (stop and frisk), unlawful government surveillance, the rights of Guantanamo detainees, and accountability for victims of torture. Baher is currently on leave from his faculty position at Seton Hall University School of Law, where he taught Constitutional Law and directed the Civil Rights and Constitutional Litigation Clinic. While a Clinical Law Professor, Baher represented Murat Kurnaz, a German resident of Turkish descent wrongfully imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay, until his release in August 2006. He has authored numerous legal briefs in the federal appeals courts and the United States Supreme Court on issues related to human rights and constitutional law, testified before Congress, and produced substantial scholarship on issues of access to justice. He is a magna cm laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and of NYU School of Law, where he was a Root-Tilden-Snow Public Interest Scholar. In 2012, Baher was selected as one of the top 500 lawyers in America by Lawdragon Magazine.

Baher has been frequently published by and appeared on major media outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, 60 Minutes, PBS Newshour, and MSNBC.

Mr. Izzo is a well-known leader within the utility industry, as well as the public policy arena.Since joining PSE&G in 1992 Mr. Izzo was elected to several executive positions within PSEG’s family of companies, including PSE&G senior vice president – utility operations, PSE&G vice president – appliance service, PSEG vice president - corporate planning, and PSE&G vice president - electric ventures. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Peddie School, Columbia University School of Engineering Board of Visitors and the Princeton University Adlinger Center for Energy and the Environment Advisory Council, as well as a member of the Visiting Committee for the Department of Nuclear Engineering at MIT.

Mr. Izzo received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in applied physics from Columbia University. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.

Dan Beiting was born and raised in a small farming community in Southern Ohio. After attending college at Appalachian State University, Dan moved on to pursue his doctorate in Immunology at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where his studies focused on understanding how the immune system copes with chronic parasitic infections. After completing his Ph.D., he moved to the University of Pennsylvania for post-doctoral studies where he began to use genomic approaches -- cutting edge techniques that capture the activity of thousands of genes to understand how they all work together -- to study pathogens and the people and animals they infect. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor at UPenn in the School of Veterinary Medicine where he directs the newly formed Center for Host-Microbe Interactions, an innovative center within the school that helps faculty leverage genomics to understand how microbes can tip the scales from health to disease.

Robin Landsman is the Chief Talent Officer for McGraw Hill Financial. She leads the Talent Center of Expertise driving all talent initiatives and workforce planning strategies across MHFI’s five businesses. She is responsible for the overall talent agenda, including employment brand, acquisition, organizational effectiveness, development and engagement enabling MHFI’s business strategy.

Previous to MHFI, she was the Assistant Vice President of HR Strategy and Culture at Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF). The majority of her career was spent at PepsiCo,where she held many senior HR roles with successive positions in operations, training, development, acquisition, HR transformation and HR management. During her tenure, she was responsible for HR activities that delivered the growth plans for the business. She was instrumental in the hiring and development of world class talent for PepsiCo as well as helping to shape the cultural agenda within the Performance with Purpose Vision. Earlier in her career, she worked at Avon Products, Inc., KPMG and Bertelsmann, AG. in various HR positions.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Denver, a Master’s Degree in General Management from the University of Connecticut and a Human Resources Certification from Cornell University’s School of Industrial Labor Relations.

Aarti Kapoor founded and currently leads the Health & Wellness industry platform at Moelis & Company, a New York based investment bank, covering companies and financial sponsors across fitness services, activewear, VMS, healthy food and beverage, and various other categories in healthy and active living. Kapoor was named to Forbes “30 Under 30” for Finance in 2015, labeled “The Wellness Maven of Wall Street” by industry-leading publication Well+Good, and has been featured in various additional publications by Yahoo! Finance, SELF Magazine, New York Magazine, Refinery29, Fast Company, Forbes, OZY and more. Kapoor has been a key speaker at various wellness industry events including Well+Good Wellness Trends (2015), FounderMade Wellness (2016) and IHRSA (2016) among others, and is also notably featured in the upcoming book, “Sweat Equity: Inside the New Economy of Mind and Body” (2016), by Jason Kelly (Bloomberg New York Bureau Chief).

In addition to her work in the wellness landscape, Kapoor has investment banking experience across a range of industries including consumer, retail, food & beverage, restaurants, media, financial institutions, industrials and real estate.

Prior to joining Moelis, Kapoor worked in the Investment Banking Division at Citigroup in New York. She graduated with a B.A. Honors cm laude in Economics from Harvard University.

Lauren Schnipper began her career producing on Broadway where she helped mount several shows including Fiddler on the Roof. In 2011, Lauren partnered with Shane Dawson (10 Million Youtube subscribers) and together they produced over 80 sketch videos, launched the podcast Shane and Friends, co-created Losin’ It for NBC and in 2014 she produced Dawson’s feature film directorial debut Not Cool. The film was a part of The Chair, a docu-series on Starz that chronicled the making of the movie. Lauren also produced the TV pilot for the Youtube sensation The Annoying Orange for Cartoon Network as well as some notable short films including K.I.T., an official selection of the Sundance and AFI Film Festivals. Lauren currently works at Facebook on the Media Team leading partnerships with digital talent and comedians. Schnipper is a graduate of The George Washington University and The Peddie School.
