On April 29, 2020, Steve’s wife, Elizabeth, was hospitalized with double pneumonia and a blood infection … despite them both being tested negative for COVID (her 2nd negative test), Steve wasn’t allowed to be by her side. On her 21st day at Univ. of CO Hospital-Anschutz, she was set to come home, but a blood clot hit her lungs and killed her. Steve didn’t get to see her until she was gone.

The NEVER Alone Project exists to mobilize a community to raise awareness about the dangers of isolation in the healthcare system and heal together so that we can work to pass the necessary regulatory/legislative change to protect people from forced isolation.

I think this is one of life's greatest challenges. My best answers have come from quiet time alone with God, and mentorship from my "circle of trust."

How do you discern what is right for you when facing big decisions?
