My daughter, Amanda, has struggled with back pain since the age of 4. A fracture was later found and at 13 she had her lower back fused. She then spent 2 years doing online school and physical therapy since she was not medically cleared to physically return to school. Now, today, she's 17, has been back at school for 2 years and is about to take her first trip, without family, to Greece and Italy for 12 days which will include the World Summit.
I cannot begin to express how proud I am of her and she continues to live her life with a smile on her face!
To all of the Columbine High School students and both teachers making this trip - safe travels and have fun making memories! ✈️😃💖
