Lower School - ready, set, read!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for our Grade 5 students!

With Ms. Lisa leading their final Lower School chapel, there were tears, laughter, prayers, and sweet memories shared together. Families paused to read heartfelt letters, pray side by side, and be reminded of the importance of staying close through every season of growth — cherishing time together and continuing to share in one another’s joys and interests as these children grow into who God created them to be.

And then came the celebration!
Crossing “over the bridge,” our incoming middle school students were welcomed with loud cheers, smiling faces, and open arms from current middle school students — a reminder that they are stepping into a community ready to encourage, support, and walk alongside them.

God is so faithful through every transition. Here’s to new beginnings, growing faith, and the exciting journey ahead.

Congratulations to our Grade 8 graduates! This class leaves behind a legacy of excellence — in academics, athletics, fine arts, leadership, and faith. From high school-level math achievements and national vocabulary rankings, to championship athletics, musicals, show choir, and launching CHC’s first tackle football team, these students have made a profound impact on our school community.

More importantly, they have grown in wisdom, character, and courage to stand firm in their faith as they step into the next season. We have celebrated you, prayed for you, and yes… cried with you too.

To the Class of 2026: we are so proud of you. CHC will always be home. Go boldly, live faithfully, and continue shining the light of Christ wherever God leads you next!

Yesterday’s graduation celebration was filled with so much joy, gratitude, and yes — plenty of tears from the parents, of course. From the moment their sweet voices praised God to the proud walk across the stage to receive their diplomas, it was a beautiful reminder of how faithful God is through every season of growth.

These tiny feet are taking big steps toward the next chapter of their education, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them. Congratulations to our precious young Lions — your journey is just beginning!
