(2004) Jota Borges Project - The students from created a play inspired by a woodcut print by a Brazilian artist - Jota Borges. From script to stage and props (using recycled materials). Was my first year teaching (apprentice teacher), I was so very proud of them!

Another day # 2. (2007) At their 21st anniversary cellebration, we hosted an origami and paper mosaic workshops and an art exhibit of the childrens work. Some of my work with at "Menina dos Olhos" Specialized Rehabilitation Center (CER IV), managed by the Altino Ventura Foundation (FAV) in Brazil. The center is dedicated to the interdisciplinary care of children with disabilities, mainly neuro-visual disorders, affecting most to have almost total or partial vision loss. The center focuses on enhancing patient autonomy and improving quality of life"

This was last year’s for those who don’t know, this is a yearly festival that happens in downtown Denver. Artists have to compose in 2 days an 8X8 feet, chalk art. I didn’t get a chance to thank all my dear friends who came to see me (also the ones not in the photos)! I won’t be participating this year since we’ll be on a road trip to Canada.
