We are incredibly grateful that Crescent Light Academy is open and fully operational, welcoming our students back to a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment!

As our school community continues to grow, our Early Childhood classes are nearing full capacity, but we are still accepting enrollment for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade for the 2026–2027 school year.

🚨 EMERGENCY FOOD VOUCHERS AVAILABLE FOR NORTH TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

In response to the recent widespread power outages, North Township Trustee's Office are providing Emergency Food Voucher assistance to eligible residents who have been without power for 72 hours or more.

Residents must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License or ID with a current address. Power outages will be verified with NIPSCO, and an Emergency Application must be completed.

Assistance is provided on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.

📍 East Chicago Office: 2100 Broadway St.
📍 Hammond Office: 5947 Hohman Ave.
• Monday - Friday • 9:30am - 4pm

Eligible communities include East Chicago, Griffith, Hammond, Highland, Munster, and Whiting.

⚠️ Please note that our offices are currently without internet and phone service. Applications will be completed manually.

Celebrating Student Growth at Crescent Light Academy!

We are proud to share the results of our Spring NWEA MAP Assessment for our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students!

85% of students are reading at or above grade level
100% of students are performing at or above grade level in math

These results reflect the dedication of our students, the commitment of our teachers, and the partnership of our families. Most importantly, they demonstrate the impact of a strong foundation in literacy, mathematics, and character development.

🌟🎓 Rising to the Stars 🎓🌟

Alhamdulillah, our Crescent Light Academy Graduation & Awards Ceremony was a beautiful celebration of our students’ journey, growth, and achievements throughout the year.

This year’s theme, “Rising to the Stars,” reflected the dreams, potential, and bright futures of our students as they continue to grow in knowledge, faith, confidence, and character. ✨

From heartfelt performances to special awards and graduation moments, every smile on stage reminded us that our children are capable of reaching incredible heights with the guidance of Allah (SWT), the support of their families, and a love for learning.

We are so proud of all our CLA students and thankful to our families, staff, and community for making this year so meaningful and successful.
