Washington D.C. has changed Michelle Rhee's evaluation tool.

Under Rhee, 50 percent of teachers’ evaluations were based on standardized test scores. Is 35 percent any better?

Southridge elementary parents are requesting volunteers to install the new playground equipment. (The date is not included in the Board digest but I think it is Saturday) A licensed contractor will be on site to supervise the workers. In addition, they are looking for various tools, i.e., shovels, rakes, nails, claw hammers, drills, wheelbarrows, etc. If you can assist, please contact the Southridge office or Jane Kuva at [email protected].
