-provides funding for school field trips that engage children in learning by providing them with real experiences

-sponsors arts in education programs such as author visits, poetry performances, and other enriching assemblies

-coordinates events like math assemblies, book fairs, and other events

-supports the Elementary School’s Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS) initiative, a program that promotes a positive school climate by clearly defining expectations and rewarding appropriate behaviors

-leads the Parents as Reading Partners (PARP) program, which is a statewide literacy effort that engages students, parents, teachers, and the community to reinforce the value of reading and strengthen the home/school partnership

What a wonderful Kindergarten Orientation! 🍎🎒 We hope all of our newest Huskies had a fantastic time exploring their new school, meeting their teachers, and getting ready for an amazing year ahead!

🐾🍎 Lend a Paw to Our Littlest Huskie Pups! 🍎🐾

Our newest Huskie Pups are learning all about their new school routine and lunchtime can be a BIG adventure for those little ones! 💙

We’re looking for some awesome PTA volunteers to help our youngest Huskies during lunch throughout September and the beginning of October, from 12:45–1:35 PM.

Sometimes lending a paw means helping a little pup tie a shoelace 👟, open a tricky chip packet, find a missing lunchbox, or simply offering a friendly smile and a little encouragement. These small moments can make a BIG difference as our newest Huskies gain confidence and independence!

To volunteer, you must be a paid PTA member for the 2026–27 academic year according to NYS PTA. It’s just a $10 sponsorship and helps support our wonderful school community! 💙
