We heavily worked for about two months on this piece by correcting mistakes, tying up loose ends, and polishing the overall performance. Here's his first official piece after starting lessons with me two months ago!!! 🥳🎉

Published in B-flat major, the piece has a captivating melody with a sense of longing as well.

DAY THREE: "SLEEPING LOTUS" 💜🌺

This is the first piece I've played by Joep Beving and definitely not the last!

Although this piece is a little over two minutes, much drama ensues throughout this G Minor piece in use of dynamic range.

The piece opens with a soft, captivating melody and into a thought-provoking but melancholic middle section. Thus, the piece closes in the same manner as its beginning. 🌞🌜

My interpretation centers around someone floating through the air and through the clouds into oblivion. Clouds usually remind me of spring. ☁️🌤🌦☁️🌸🌼
