Beattie Middle School

This year’s Spring Family Festival is Friday, March 6th right after school until -5:30 in the quad.

All students including all incoming 5th graders, their friends, and families are invited to attend.

Entrance is free! You will need to purchase tickets for the snack bar and game booths. Tickets are $1 each. Drinks are 1 ticket, food items are 2 tickets, games are 1-5 tickets each.

There will be carnival games, a snack bar, photo booth, and Kona ice. You can even pie a teacher in the face! So, give it your best shot!

Kona Ice must be paid separately.

Immediately following the festival, the Talent Show will be in the MPR. Come watch your friends perform. Tickets for the talent show are $5 and may be purchased at the door.

This week is Valentine’s week…
Tuesday through Thursday, holiday grams will be sold at both lunches in front of E-08. They are $1.50 with ASB and $2.00 without ASB. These will be delivered on Friday.
We also have spirit days this week
Wednesday Color wars - 6th grade wear white shirts, 7th grade wear red shirts, 8th grade wear Pink shirts (you can also wear any of these colors if you don’t have the correct color)
Thursday Hearts! - wear anything with hearts on it!
Friday Pajama day- Wear pajamas to be comfy - make them Valentine themed to be extra special.

Food insecurity is rising for local families as inflation, benefit cuts, and prices continue to increase.

Beattie Middle School ASB & WEB (along with many schools across our district) are holding a food drives to help local students and families in this time of uncertainty.

We will be collecting from Wednesday, November 12 through Wednesday, November 20.

Items may be dropped in the office, in front of Ms. Jackson's room E-08 before school, passing periods, or at lunch.

To add a little fun competition, the grade level that donates the most items will receive 2 days early to lunch! Any student that donates 5 items will get a “free mile” coupon for PE!

All items donated on Thursday, November 13th count double towards your grade level as a celebration of National Kindness Day!

Please help Beattie make a difference in our community. We will accept donations of unopened, non-perishable, non-expired food (pasta, sauces, canned goods, cereal, granola bars, etc.)

Thursday 10/23: College Spirit Wear Day - rep your favorite college!
Friday 10/24: Dream Big! Reach for the Stars. - Wear your pajamas.

This event is for 6th graders only! Tickets will be sold at first lunch on September 24, 25, 26 or you can pay online at https://store.5starstudents.com/Beattie or use QR code. No ticket sales at the door. Transportation NOT provided. Snack bar items and arcade games NOT included in ticket price. Beattie IDs REQUIRED to enter event.

Celebrate National Checkers Day! Wear red, black, and white, or any checkers print! Come to the library during both lunches to play a game of checkers.

This week is our back to school spirit week!
MONDAY 08/11- Wear your favorite color shirt. Find someone with the same color shirt and visit the WEB table for spirit points and a treat.
TUESDAY 08/12- Wear Sunglasses because you are all so cool! Come check in at the WEB table with someone else also wearing sunglasses.
WEDNESDAY 08/13- This is me day! Wear your favorite outfit that makes you feel amazing! Stop by the WEB table for check in and write down a fun fact about yourself!
THURSDAY 08/14- Twin with a friend! Stop by the WEB table with your twin for spirit points and a prize.
FRIDAY 08/15- Color Wars! 8th grade wear a black shirt, 7th grade wear a maroon or red shirt, 6th grade wear white or gray shirts
Then join us after school Friday for the Out of This World Dance Party from 3:20-5:30. You can dress up, but it is not required. There will be music and dancing inside the MPR. Yard games outside. Snack bar in front of the mat room. $1 for drinks and $2 for food. There is a free pizza dinner included with the ticket. WEB will lead games in the quad. Yearbook will take buddy pictures for $2 per person. Come have fun, hang out with your friends, and celebrate the beginning of the school year.
Tickets are available online now through the 5-star site, or you may purchase during lunch next week. $8 if you have an ASB membership, $10 if you do not. You can purchase ASB membership next week for $10. Dress code applies to ALL events.
