We are SO excited to announce that DUCKS WON! 🎉

Thanks to Skylar Dillport, we will be hatching baby ducks right here in our classroom as a hands-on science experiment! 🔬🐣 The kiddos will even get the amazing opportunity to watch the ducklings grow and develop inside their eggs before watching them hatch! 🥹💛

What a fun way to experience the life cycle up close! We can’t wait to start this special adventure! 🦆🥚🐣

🦸‍♀️✨ INVISIBLE SUPERPOWERS UNLOCKED! ✨🦸‍♂️

Today our little superheroes learned all about the superpower of INVISIBILITY! 👀💥

We started with what looked like a blank piece of paper…but there was a TOP SECRET message hiding in plain sight! 🤫🕵️‍♀️ The kiddos used their special superhero skills to paint over the paper and magically reveal their very own superhero names! 🎨⚡

Their faces when the secret messages started appearing were PRICELESS!

We love turning learning into an adventure building curiosity, creativity, fine motor skills, and a little bit of superhero magic along the way! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️💫

The villains took over breakfast this morning with Green Goblin Pancakes! 💚🥞 Our kiddos had so much fun trying their bright green pancakes paired with kiwi!

But don’t worry… our HERO came to save the day at lunchtime! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️⚡

All week long, breakfast belongs to the villains 😈 and lunchtime belongs to the superheroes! 💪🏼 We love turning mealtime into another fun part of our superhero theme and those smiles say it all! 🥰

Today our little superheroes explored the power of SUPER BREATH! 💥 We talked about how air moves and then put our own super breath to the test with Wind Painting!

The kiddos used straws to blow paint across their paper, watching the colors move, spread, and mix. 🎨💨 Such a fun way to combine our Super Powers theme with art, science, and lots of hands-on learning!

We’ve been busy rearranging, organizing, decorating, and adding lots of fun new learning spaces for our little superheroes. From our Superhero Dispatch Center and Strength Training Gym to our cozy reading area, dramatic play spaces, new learning centers, and superhero touches throughout—we are READY! ⚡️📚💪

So much time and love went into creating a space where our kiddos can learn, play, imagine, explore, and grow! 🥰

We can’t wait to see all the learning and memories that will happen in our newly made-over classroom this year!
