This weekend, our ATG workshop turned up the heat—literally! Parents rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on with xôi (Vietnamese sticky rice), learning how to create vibrant, naturally colored masterpieces using pandan, butterfly pea flower, turmeric, and beets! 🌿🌸💛💙
From layering textures to topping with Chinese sausages, , pork floss, coconut, peanuts and sesame, each bowl was a steamy success—and a delicious reminder that goals (like rice) stick better when you add a little love and creativity 💪❤️
Swipe to see the rainbow of rice and the joy in every bite ➡️🌈

We need your support! This year, we are HONORED to be included in the team of volunteers headed to ⛰️Southeast Asian/Pacific Islander Heritage Camp as part of ♥️ ATG Against The Grain Productions Tribe.
This journey and incredible adoptee & family centered heritage camp is sponsored heavily through donations and support from our community. We are in a race to fundraise to support this project and all of the families it embraces. PLEASE help us get to SEAPI! Any amount will help more than you know.
Heritage Camps for Adoptive Families was founded by several adoptive families who felt their shared experiences could help others in the adoptive family community. They created this resource and supportive community to promote healthy adoption and cultivate racial and ethnic identities for transracial, transnational, and domestic adoptees. Southeast Asian/Pacific Islander camp (SEAPI) specifically caters to those of Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Cambodian, and Pacific Islander heritage throughout the country.
At SEAPI Heritage Camp, dedicated efforts are made to represent each country and culture our children originate from. This is done through the efforts of supportive presenters, entertainers, and counselors from Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, and Pacific Islander communities in Colorado and across the nation. Many of these individuals are adoptees themselves – serving as important role models for our children to relate to, learn from, and build lasting connections and community. The diverse Southeast Asian & Pacific Islander culture permeates every aspect of camp life for an authentic and enjoyable experience.
