Eight years. I honestly don’t know how to put into words what Daphne—and your entire family—mean to me. I have watched her grow from a little girl into an incredible young woman, and I have been blessed to walk beside her through some of her biggest victories and some of her hardest moments.

There were times when pitching had very little to do with what happened during our hour together. We talked, cried, worked through mental blocks, celebrated breakthroughs, and sometimes simply sat together until she was ready to keep going. I believed in her because I knew what was inside of her, even during the moments when she struggled to believe in herself.

Coaching Daphne has been one of the greatest gifts of my career. She will always be one of my girls, and you are absolutely family. This is going to be such a huge adjustment, so you had better show up at the warehouse—and being weird is practically a requirement there anyway. 😂 I love you both more than you know. This isn’t goodbye; it’s just “see you soon.” ❤️
