Wishing my students good luck on tomorrow’s ACT! And remember to order TIR (Test Information Release), if you haven’t already. ACT will send you a test booklet, your answers, and the correct answers. You got this!

February ACT results:

I like to be transparent: thrilling in some cases and so disappointing in others.

One student got the 34 he’d been striving for! Woohoo!!

Another scored a 23 when she’s been practicing at 30.

So what can we do when things don’t go our way?
Option 1: Test optional
Option 2: Take the ego out of it. Practice, practice, practice.
Hit it, and hit it, and hit it again until you reach that score we know you can accomplish.
Option 3: Take a break, if that’s what you need, and then re-assess your situation.

And practice anti-anxiety strategies.

And celebrate when your hard work pays off.
