Our School Haus Licensed home-based childcare program for toddlers and preschoolers.

At Our School Haus we provide licensed home-based childcare for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are located in a quiet residential area just a few blocks east of downtown Highland Park. Thanks to our very convenient location the children are able to enjoy frequent neighborhood walks to the public library, Lake Michigan beaches and local parks. Bright and sunny rooms provide a cheerful envir

onment where the children love to play, learn and explore. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate learning opportunities and a preschool program based on Montessori principles. All staff members are college educated and have a background in either Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Our low child to teacher ratio and small group size ensure that each child receives the individualized attention he or she deserves. Most importantly, through strong, long-term relationships with each family we get to know each and every child as an individual with their own stenghts, interests and challenges. This allows us to support their development and learning based on their unique personality and temperament. Our goal is to make each child feel at home at Our School Haus and to foster a sense of family and community. Last Friday we celebrated Purim at our school! The children had so much fun and helped Miss Mariana make hamantaschen, the traditional Jewish cookies enjoyed during this holiday. It was a joyful moment of learning, culture, and baking together. ✡️💛

I felt so loved last Friday! Thank you to all the kids for the beautiful drawings and sweet birthday wishes — they truly made my day extra special. On February 17th, the Chinese New Year celebrations began, and this year we celebrate the Fire Horse 🐎🔥
Our little artists explored their creativity by painting beautiful, colorful horses. It was a special moment filled with culture, art, and lots of fun! ✨
