There are certain exceptions to covid-related travel restrictions. If you need an au pair right away and you qualify under any of the following 3 categories, you may qualify for an exemption.
-If your child has special needs (e.g., medical, special education or sign language);
-if having an au pair would prevent you from needing to go on government assistance;
-or if you or your spouse provide medical care to individuals who have contracted COVID-19 or perform medical research at United States facilities to help combat COVID-19.
