“It's hard to overstate the effect that Curt Sipe has had on my life. As a young saxophone player, he opened my ears to the world of jazz and improvised music. I remember leaving our lessons totally pumped up and going straight home to practice. Over the next seven years, Curt coached me to a first chair spot in the PA All-State Jazz Ensemble and admission to the jazz studies program at the University of North Texas. I left his studio with confidence, discipline, and a framework for learning that continues to serve me both personally and professionally. Though my career path ultimately led to medicine, Curt's educational philosophy continues to inform my own approach to teaching medical students and residents, as well as my own children.” ~ Jonathan Triantafyllou, MD

“Curt Sipe has been a phenomenal resource to my students, my program and my teaching. He has partnered with my school numerous times and it is always an outstanding and professional experience. The best compliment I can possibly give him...when my children are old enough, they will be studying with Curt.” ~ Dan Brenner - Spring Grove High School Director of Jazz Studies
