In a Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) garage in Covington, Kentucky, nine Northern Kentucky University students are transforming an everyday transit option into a one-of-a-kind display for the country’s largest public art festival.

Northern Kentucky University and the NKU Foundation are proud to present the annual Lincoln Awards on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 in the James C. and Rachel M. Votruba Student Union.

The Lincoln Awards, established by the NKU President in 1992, recognizes those in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana who exemplify outstanding citizenship, notable achievement, and distinguished service in their professions and the region.

The 2026 Honorees are the Honorable Gary W. Moore, Boone County Judge and Executive, and the Honorable Steve Pendery, Campbell County Judge and Executive.
