Hip-Hop Songwriting for Anxiety:
Join us for Part 1 featuring our Black History Month special guest Genius Potential: Thursday, February 15, at 12:15PM in the SU Ballroom (B/C). This program uses the lens of hip hop songwriting to teach students non-cognitive skills of self-awareness, empathy, and verbalizing emotions. Students will learn how to select a beat and structure a song, all while channeling complex emotions through the healthy outlet of songwriting. This program is great for wellness week, stress busters, or a much-needed mental health break from midterms/finals. Register Here: https://linktr.ee/nku_aasi

Epic Rap Battles of Black History:
Join us for Part 2 featuring the return of our Black History Month special guest Genius Potential! Thursday, February 15, at 7PM in the SU Ballroom. Bert & Det produce three skits/emcee battles highlighting contrasting views of famous historical African American men and women. Their viewpoints are highlighted through rap battles encapsulating their competing ideals. This program covers the past, present, and future destiny of African American leaders. At the end of each emcee battle, Bert & Det deep dive into the historical backstories behind the captivating lyrics and engage the students in interactive trivia and dialogue. Join NKU University Housing and the Center for Student Inclusiveness as we provide an experience to see the movie premiere of Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes! This will take place on Friday, November 17th at 7PM, located at Regal Theatres in Wilder, KY. We are excited to bring back another FREE movie premiere opportunity to our NORSE FAMILY! Keep in mind, TICKETS WILL BE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED so it is important that you pay attention to the following instructions to secure your tickets.

Please keep the following in mind to CONFIRM your TICKET!
1. There is only one ticket allowed per person.
2. Head over to CSI to confirm your ticket (with ID) between Nov 13th & 14th by 4:30PM, located in Student Union Suite 309.
3. Make your way to Regal and we will see you there
