As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our care, adhering to all dietary guidelines and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a genuine interest in promoting healthy eating habits for young children.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children according to menu and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and kitchen equipment.
• Communicate effectively with childcare staff regarding any special dietary needs or food allergies.
• Assist with menu planning and ordering of food and supplies as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a cook in a childcare setting or similar environment preferred.
