🌟 Welcome to Our Space-tacular ECC Team! 🚀
We are thrilled to launch this new school year by introducing the shining stars of our Early Childhood Center: Ms. Donya and Ms. Michelle! These two stellar educators are on a mission to make learning an out-of-this-world adventure for every child.
Ms. Donya, our cosmic captain, leads our ECC crew with inspiring vision, energy, and creativity in every classroom orbit. With her passion for exploration and care for every little astronaut, she helps our students reach for the stars!
Ms. Michelle, our guiding star, lights up the ECC galaxy with her steady leadership and innovative spirit. Her thoughtful approach inspires each child to boldly go where their curiosity leads them.
Together, Ms. Donya and Ms. Michelle are ready to blast off into a year full of discovery, imagination, and stellar fun. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey across the universe of early learning!

🦁💙 What a GREAT first day at Murphy Elementary! 💙🦁

Our Lions are officially back, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the school year! 🏫✨ From reconnecting with friends to meeting new teachers, learning new routines, and filling our halls with lots of smiles, it was a wonderful day at Murphy!

🦁💙 Popsicles with the Principals & Chalk the Walk! 💙🦁

What a fun way to kick off the school year! A huge thank you to our Murphy PTO for sponsoring Popsicles with the Principals & Chalk the Walk and bringing our Murphy families together before the first day of school! 🍧🎨

So many students and families came out to enjoy a popsicle, meet up with friends, and help chalk the walk with colorful drawings, messages, and lots of Murphy pride! 💙🤍

We even had some of our Murphy alumni, who are heading off to middle school tomorrow, stop by to leave their mark. 🥹💙 Once a Lion, always a Lion! 🦁

Our walk is officially chalked, and we are ready for the first day of school tomorrow morning!

We cannot wait to see all of our Lions and kick off an amazing school year together! 💙🦁

Our kindergarten teachers are SO excited to welcome our newest little Lions for their first day of school tomorrow! 💛🚌✏️

To help make tonight extra special, cozy up and enjoy a reading of The Night Before Kindergarten, performed by our very own kindergarten teachers — Mrs. Tindall, Mrs. Landis, and Ms. Dake! 📖🥰

Good Afternoon, Murphy Families!

We are so excited to welcome all of our Murphy students back tomorrow for the first day of school! It is going to be an amazing year filled with learning, growing, laughter, new friendships, and lots of fun!

As we prepare for a great first day, here are a few friendly reminders:

-Doors open at 8:20 a.m. and instructional time begins at 8:35 a.m.
-If you are dropping your child off through private transportation, please remain in your vehicle with your child until our staff gives the all-clear to begin unloading. We ask that parents remain in their vehicles during arrival. Parents will not be able to walk students into the building or to their classrooms.
-Students arriving by bus will be dismissed from the buses once our staff members are in place and the bus drivers receive the all-clear.
-Please make sure your child’s personal belongings are labeled with their name, including backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets, and other items.
-The school day ends at 3:33 p.m.
-If you are picking up your child through private transportation, please have your assigned pick-up number clearly visible in your vehicle window. We ask that you remain near your vehicle, and our staff will safely walk students out to you.
-Don’t forget, our first Murphy PTO event of the year is tonight at 5:00 p.m.! Join us for Popsicles with the Principals & PTO and Chalk the Walk! We hope to see many of our Murphy families there!
-Most importantly, have your Murphy Lion get a good night’s rest and come ready for an exciting first day!

We cannot wait to see everyone bright and early tomorrow morning! 💙🤍🦁
