First week FUN in the Art Room!

🏰Our theme this year Middle Ages- “Welcome to the Kingdom of Learning” so the students started by creating a mini “Most Wanted” posters of Me to warm up!

Next, they created a “Most Wanted” poster of our class mascot, Roy G. Bv the Squirrel, committing some funny creative crimes like putting googly eyes on all the royal portraits in the castle!
🔴🐿️🟠🐿️🟡🐿️🟢🐿️🔵🐿️🟣

☕️The final step was to wrinkle, then soak the paper in coffee to make it look like it came from the Middle Ages! This was their favorite part!
👸🤴🏰🐎🕯️👑🛡️

😀Shout out to Mr. Diamond for offering to brew and share coffee with us Fri and next week! Bonus, the Art Room has been smelling like a coffee house while all the art is drying☕️

🎨The Northwest District Art Show was such a success, and it wouldn't have been possible without all the families and friends who came to support their talented artists. The students and I appreciate everyone for coming!
