We hope your September is off to a great start. Our gallery is being prepped for our next exhibit and our classes are starting to fill up.

We will be closed on Monday the 7th to honor and appreciate the achievements and contributions of laborers who keep our daily lives running. Let's spend the day thanking those who work hard to make life accessible and functional, and let's also take a day of rest from laboring.

Having King M Dot back in our gallery to serenade the us and the artwork lit up our space. He found his inspiration from our community cardboard quilt and with the acoustics in the gallery his rich soulful tones emphasized the textures around the gallery, the cardboard, the wood, the brick, the pillars, it was all alive.

Our annual Middle School Exhibit will be coming down the 29th, do not miss your opportunity to see this show before it leaves our halls. Participating schools are Guilford eLearning University Prep, Hairston Middle School, High Point Friends School, High Point Christian School, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School, Kiser Middle School, Northwest Guilford Middle School, Penn-Griffin School for the Arts, Phoenix Academy, Southwest Guilford Middle School, Tri-City Christian Academy, Wesleyan Christian Academy, and Westchester Country Day School.

We have the best time!

Students participate in a wheel-throwing pottery class at The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards Thusday. The six-week class teaches participates a variety of techniques to advance their wheel knowledge.
