Safety Measurements for the Coronavirus
As a Five star license facility our Center has always followed best practices for sanitizing our classrooms and preventing the spread of germs. With the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, we continue to follow guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO). DCDEE. We are, and have always been proactive and vigilant when it comes to sanitization and disease prevention.
You can help us keep our Child care Center safe for our parents, students and staff by complying with CDC, WHO and North Carolina recommendations in following these protocols:
If you or your child are experiencing any respiratory illness, fever, or other flu-like symptoms, please see your pediatrician and return with a doctors note.
If you suspect you have been exposed to Coronavirus (COVID-19), or if someone in your home has a respiratory illness with flu-like symptoms, please see Pediatrican and return with a doctors note.
Please follow CDC recommendations regarding handwashing. Frequent handwashing—using soap and warm water for a minimum of 20 seconds—is your best defense against viruses of all types, including Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Avoid touching your face when possible, and use hand sanitizer when you are unable to find a sink.
After Handwashing has been completed before checking .please use the Hand sanitizer will be available for you and your family at the check in station. You are welcome to utilize them for your protection.
We are stepping up our periodical surface cleaning. We will use a surface disinfectant to clean all contact surfaces more frequently.
Please follow the poster attached " Too Sick for School" when determining if its safe for your child to come to school during the Coronavirus. Children with running nose that is not clear is asked to refrain from attending.
Everyone must wash their hands following the Hand washings steps for " 20 seconds" before signing in. Hand sanitizer will be provided to use after hands have been washed using the sink. Adults must assist their child with hand washing before entering the Educational hall.
