Perseverance isn’t about never struggling it’s about learning that when something feels hard, we can pause, problem-solve, ask for help, and try again. 💙

In honor of National Never Give Up Day tomorrow, we’re sharing a few simple ways families can help children build perseverance from an early age.

By giving children opportunities to work through challenges, make mistakes, take on responsibilities, and experience the pride that comes from trying again, we help them build confidence in one very important belief: “I can do hard things.”

At The Nest Schools, we nurture these skills through everyday learning experiences and our Art of Living enrichment program, helping children practice responsibility, independence, kindness, and resilience.

Kindness is one of the most important lessons we can teach and one of the most meaningful things children can experience.

Through our KindNest Charitable Giving initiative, our High Point Northgate school’s partnership with Friends of the Guilford County Animal Shelter has given children and families the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of animals while learning the value of empathy, compassion, and community.

From preparing enrichment treats for shelter dogs to supporting the shelter's mission in meaningful ways, these experiences help children discover that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

Our KindNest Charitable Giving partnerships are about more than giving back, it's about raising children who understand the power of caring for others.
