Vaccine Information:

Per Missouri state law and health regulations, it is required that all students be properly immunized and provide verification of these immunizations to attend school, unless they have an appropriate exemption card on file. (Example: In Progress, Medical, or Religious exemption card)

Children attending preschool โ€‹must be immunized with DTaP, IPV, Hib, Hepatitis B, PCV, MMR, and Varicella vaccines. These vaccines protect your child from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, Haemophilusโ€‹ influenza โ€‹type b, hepatitis B, pneumococcal, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella diseases. All students are required to provide documentation that includes the month, day, and year the vaccine was administered.

Children attending kindergartenโ€‹ must be immunized with DTaP, IPV, MMR, Varicella vaccine. Yourโ€‹ child may also need the Hep B vaccine if three doses were not administered during early childhood. These vaccines protect your child from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B diseases. All students are required to provide documentation that includes the month, day, and year the vaccine was administered. These last vaccine doses should be administered on or after the childโ€™s fourth birthday in order for them to attend kindergarten.

Students attending 8th grade must be immunized with their first dose of Tdap and MCV vaccine. Thisโ€‹ protects your child from tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and meningococcal diseases. All students are required to provide documentation that includes the month, day and year the vaccine was administered.

Students attending 12โ€‹th grade must be immunized with their second dose of the MCV vaccine. Thisโ€‹ protects your child from meningococcal disease. If the first dose of MCV was administered after the child was age 16, then only one dose of MCV is required.

SAE Spotlight: Jayla Schaedel

Jayla Schaedel is a junior and her SAE focuses on gardening and vegetable production. Jayla grows several varieties of tomatoes, including Juliet, Early Girl, and Cherry tomatoes, along with onions for her family to enjoy. Through her SAE, she learns valuable skills in planting, caring for, and harvesting crops while providing fresh produce for her family.

One of Jayla's favorite parts of her SAE is watching her plants grow throughout the season and enjoying the fresh vegetables once they are ready to harvest.

Keep up the great work! Go Tigers!

SAE Spotlight: Miles McGuire

Miles McGuire is a sophomore and the chapter President. His SAE focuses on dairy goats and beef cattle. Miles breeds, raises, sells, and shows dairy goats while working to build a herd with strong genetics. In addition to his goat project, he cares for beef cattle by baling and feeding hay, raising bottle calves, and feeding out steers.

One of Miles' favorite parts of his SAE is working with his animals and seeing how each one has its own unique personality. He also enjoys spending time in the barn caring for them each day.

Keep up the great work! Go Tigers!

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ๐ŸšŒ ๐ŸšŒ 2026-2027 Bus Route Changes ๐ŸšŒ ๐ŸšŒ ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ

In an effort to reduce the longest times some students previously spent on the school bus, the school bus routes have been modified for the 2026-2027 school year. This change will reduce the number of bus turnarounds, railroad crossings, and overall bus miles. Some students who previously rode with Natalie will be riding with Linda, and vice versa. This change will cause a few students to be on the bus longer than previous years, but most students will ride the same amount of time or less time.

If you have bus-riding students, it is recommended that you come to the Open House on August 19 from 5pm to 7pm to see the route changes and receive an estimated time for your studentโ€™s boarding.

If you are not coming to the Open House and want to have your studentโ€™s estimated boarding time, please email Bruce Meffert at [email protected].

Please remember these times are estimates only. Within a few days of school start, the times will become more precise as everyone acclimates to the new routes.
