šŸ‘ŸšŸ’™ HELPING KIDS START THE SCHOOL YEAR ON THE RIGHT FOOT! šŸ’™šŸ‘Ÿ
I have a friend with a HUGE heart who would like to donate shoes to some kiddos in need as they get ready to start the new school year. šŸ“šāœļø
If you know a child who could use a new pair of shoes but may not have the means to get them right now, please reach out to me privately. No judgment, no questions, and no embarrassment. ā¤ļø
Every child deserves to walk into their first day of school feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to learn. šŸ„°šŸ‘Ÿ
If you know a family who could benefit, please share this post so we can hopefully reach the kids who need it most!
Let’s start this school year by taking care of our community.

ā˜€ļø SUMMER SAFETY STARTS AT HOME ā˜€ļø

As school lets out and summer begins, our kids have more freedom , and more time away from our eyes. That’s why it’s so important to have open, honest conversations about staying safe.

Just a reminder to my Mamas out there to Talk to your child about:• Trusting their instincts, if something feels wrong, it probably is• Knowing safe adults they can go to if they need help• Being kind, but also standing up for themselves and others• Online safety , who they talk to and what they share matters• Checking in with you, no matter where they are

ā¤ļø Remind them:They can ALWAYS come to you , no matter what, no judgment, just love and support.

Let’s raise kids who feel safe, heard, and confident enough to speak up. Summer should be full of fun memories , not fear.

Not every bruise shows up on the outside.
Some kids walk into school every day carrying words that were said to them… names they were called… things that made them feel small, unwanted, or alone.
And the scary part?
A lot of them don’t say a word about it.
Talk to your kids.
Not just about being bullied, but about not being the one who hurts others too.
Teach them: • Kindness is strength
• Words stick longer than we think
• Standing up for someone matters
If your child seems quieter, more withdrawn, or just ā€œnot themselvesā€ā€¦ check in. Really listen.
One kind friend. One safe adult. One conversation… can make all the difference.
Let’s raise kids who lift others up, not tear them down.

Dear Mama,

I know you’re tired.

Not just ā€œI need a napā€ tired… but the kind that sits deep in your bones. The kind that comes from carrying so much , your kids’ needs, your worries, your home, your responsibilities… all while trying to hold yourself together.

And still, you show up.

You show up when you don’t feel like you have anything left. You show up even on the days you doubt yourself. You show up with love, even when you’re overwhelmed.

That matters more than you realize.

Your children don’t see your imperfections the way you do. They see your hugs, your effort, your voice calling their name, your arms that make everything feel safe. To them, you are home.

So on the days you feel like you’re falling short…please remember, you are exactly what they need.

You are not failing. You are learning, growing, and loving them the best way you can.

And that is more than enough.

Give yourself a little grace today, Mama. You deserve it just as much as everyone else you take care of.

With love,Someone who sees you šŸ¤ Another Mama whos trying .

Ive gone back and forth on how to touch on this subject. So im just going to dive right in . This is very serious and parents need to be more aware . This isnt a " that could never happen to my family " kind of matter . This is happening to families everywhere. TALK TO YOUR LITTLES ABOUT NOT BEING MEAN !!!!

This is something every parent needs to read so share if you want
In Texas, su***de is the 2nd leading cause of death for kids ages 10–19. Let that sink in.
And while there isn’t an exact number that says how many of those are caused by bullying , we DO know this: Kids who are bullied are significantly more likely to struggle with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.
Bullying doesn’t just ā€œhurt feelings.ā€ It can create deep feelings of:
loneliness
shame
fear
hopelessness
Depression

And the scary part? Most kids won’t come right out and say , I’m being bullied.
They’ll say things like: I don’t want to go to school. I’m just tired. Or , they won’t say anything at all.

As parents, we have to look deeper. We have to ask the hard questions. We have to create a safe place for them to open up.
Talk to your kids. Every single day. Teach them kindness. Teach them to stand up for others. And most importantly , make sure they know they are never alone.
Because what may seem ā€œsmallā€ to us , could feel like everything to them.

Ive really been thinking hard about ways to talk with our littles so that we can determine if they are being bullied by others . Ive come up with a few easy and short questions that can tell us more about what our children deal with daily .
Sometimes kids won’t come right out and say it, so it’s all about how we ask.
You may not even know your child is being treated un kind.

instead of , Are you being bullied? Try these , and remember keep it simple .

What was the best and hardest part of your day?

Who did you play with today?
Did anything make you feel happy today ? After they answer that simply ask , Did anything make you feel sad today ?

Do kids at school ever get picked on?

Keep it calm. Keep it casual. Car rides and bedtime are the best times
And always remind them: ā€œI’m here to listen. You can tell me anything.ā€
Our kids need to feel safe before they feel ready to speak ā¤ļø

Let's be mindful of the words we use with our kids and around our kids . If we want them to grow up kind and inclusive, we have to give them the language. Remind them:

Everyone has feelings, and everyone deserves respect. It takes courage to be kind, and you have that courage.

Every kind word we model plants a seed in their hearts. Let’s raise a generation that lifts others up. This starts with us as parents . We cant expect our children to be kind if we tear other adults down around them. Watch your words because they are !!!
