There’s something joyful about a Mahjong table full of women who are still figuring it out.

Mahjong can feel overwhelming at first. Not because the game is impossible, but because the language is new.

Once you understand the terms people are using at the table, everything starts to click: instructions make sense, decisions happen faster, and you feel more confident in real time play.

You don’t need to memorize everything at once, but knowing the basics makes a big difference in how quickly the game starts to feel natural.

The lingo is part of the learning curve. 🀄
