Field Day for K - 2nd will begin at 8:45 in the Elementary Gym with class tug-a-war, 3 legged races, etc. The plan is to move outside and do the running events following, weather pending...

Reminder...
3rd, 4th and 5th will have their Field Day tomorrow beginning at 8:45 here at the track. Please have your child wear comfortable clothing (within dress code) and good athletic shoes that they can run and jump in. Also, they should bring a water bottle to keep with them throughout the day. We look forward to seeing you out at the track!
Approximate running start times… 3rd @ 8:45; 4th @ 9:30; 5th @ 10:15

In the event that we have to delay the start due to weather we will move to the gym to do what activities we can inside. We will keep you posted!

Mark your calendars for Field Day events!

Pre-K - Friday, April 29th - 8:30 - 9:30

Kinder, 1st, 2nd grade - Friday, May 13th - 8:45 - 11:00

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade - Tuesday, May 24th - 8:45 - 11:15

More information will be sent out as each event gets closer.

This year Hico Elementary raised $1,694.21 during our recent Kids Heart Challenge (KHC) event. Thank you for all of the support! As soon as the give-back prizes come in we will pass them out!

The remainder of the 3,4,5th grade Field Days have been cancelled. The students that are still in school will meet in the gym and finish out their activities. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Students that were to be recognized for End of the Year Awards for P.E. will now be recognized during the academic awards assembly.

Thank you to all those who came out the last two days and supported and all of the many people who helped out in some sort of way. We appreciate it!
