After a presentation from the Hico Education Foundation and some fabulous steaks provided by the Texas Steak Cookoff, our staff is ready to welcome our students tomorrow!

Special thanks to Mr. Brister, Mr.Kale, Mr. Sanders, Mr. Needham, Mrs. Schane and our cafeteria crew for preparing the meal; board members Jeff Serratt, Keith Jackson and Ryan Wyatt and our Admin Team for serving the steaks!

The 2026-2027 school year is off to a great start!

The Annual Tiger Family Picnic was a success! Thank you to the Texas Steak Cookoff Team for letting us have the ribeye trimmings, to David and Turner O’Neal for turning them into the BEST burgers and the guys who always show up to cook! Thanks, also, to Clint and Mary for providing the entertainment! We love our Tiger Family! ❤️🐯💙

Maintenance Staff Appreciation lunch and saying goodbye to the Legend, Eddie Needham. These guys have worked hard all summer to get things ready for the new year. You’ll be amazed at the improvements they’ve made across the district! 💙🐯❤️

On behalf of Hico ISD, I would like to thank the community of Hico for considering the 2026 Bond. The goal of this election was to ensure that all citizens had answers to their questions and were fully informed before they went to the polls. We believe we accomplished that goal and respect the decision of the voters.
