THE RANCH PRESCHOOL NEWSLETTER AUGUST 14-18, 2023

WELCOME to the RANCH Preschool. We are an Academic & Biblical Child Care Ministry that has been in operation for over 15 years. We teach academics according to each child's age, while incorporating fine, gross, & social skills, plus we include lots of biblical teachings. Our goal is to provide quality care & comfort, Christian love in a safe & friendly environment. We teach the whole child.
Our curriculum includes academic learning, creative arts, reading, writing, science, social studies, home living, block building & manipulatives, learning the alphabet & counting; shapes, colors, outdoor classrooms, & much more.
Outdoor classes are vital for academics, as well as biblical learning. This week the students picked the last of the tomatoes. Everyone enjoyed eating the fruits of their labor. The children planted sweet potatoes. Taking care of plants teaches children responsibilities. Great way to incorporate numerous learning skills.
Friday Splish Splash Water Day. Students enjoyed water fun on the slip & slide, in small kiddie pools, and water sprinklers. Great way to cool off on a hot day.
Our public schoolers are headed back to school on Wednesday. We wish them and all the teachers a successful and happy year.
The Ranch offers childcare for students 6 weeks through 5th grade, including families with Child Care Solutions from any county. We offer an extended after (public) school program for PK-5th grade. The FBC van picks up students at the Hico ISD campus. We are open year round M-F, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, with occasional closures for holidays.
The RANCH offers an early intervention program with planned play activities that allow our students to grow and enable them to reach their full potential. We encourage children to focus on positive behavior, to belong, to love, & be loved.
The playground offers time in the fresh air, with ways to incorporate motor skills, social skills, learning skills, manipulatives, and much more. Students enjoy some water sports. Fun way to keep cool and have fun.
The RANCH has a vision to maintain good, hardworking, faithful teachers, and offer your child the best care & learning experiences.

Friday was Ice Cream Sundae Day. Students enjoyed making their own treat, then cleaning up.

OUR ANNUAL FISH FRY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS! We appreciate everyone who supported us with food & silent auction items. Also, to the ones who enjoyed the fish lunch. A huge thank you goes to all the cooks, servers, pots & pans washers, & clean up crews.

Our students did an awesome job singing for their families, friends, and church members. They were so excited to perform.
