SAT Prep:
Core tutoring center offers a wide variety of personalized academic programs for students in grades K through 12, including SAT prep, ACT prep, schoolwork and homework help, and college admission counseling. Core Tutoring Center’s Program Director Kumar Dey has been working in the educational field for last fifteen years. He has a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and background in Mechanical Engineering. He is passionate about helping student in academic and personal development. Our student begins his or her program with an academic assessment specifically designed to pinpoint academic strengths and areas for improvement. Kumar leads a team of highly qualified tutors who have graduated from some of the nation’s best colleges and universities. One of Core’s top tutors is Francis, who is pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics from Stony Brook University. “I love teaching,” Francis says. “There is nothing more satisfying than helping a student finally understands a concept they had struggled with. That change in their expression when everything suddenly clicks into place is the best part of the job.”
Our students attend several local schools, including Syosset High School, Jericho High School, Bethpage High School, Kellenberg Memorial School, Half Hollow Hill East/West High School, and Sanford H. The tutoring center is conveniently located on Broadway/ route 107, one block North of Old Country road in the strip mall next to Chennai Dosa.
