Carousel Day School and Summer Program Carousel Day School was chartered by the New York State Department of Education and Board of Regents in 1956. The results have always proven to be positive.

At Carousel we believe that each student is endowed with their own individual capacities and characteristics. Knowing each student personally enables Carousel to provide the kind of education best suited for their distinct needs. Our objectives include a well-rounded program which encompasses the social and academic skills necessary for a lifetime of continuous learning and adaptation. We believe that certain criteria are essential to obtain these objectives, one very important factor being, having FUN. Exercising their minds by allowing them to be creative, providing meaningful challenges and accomplishments. Carousel’s highest priority is to ensure that students are prepared with a foundation for a lifetime of learning! The central goal of Carousel’s Summer Program is to provide
our children with the safest, happiest and healthiest summer camp experience available. Camp is a place where children grow. They have opportunities to try new things, make new friends and become part of an extended family. Here at Carousel we promote mutual respect, sportsmanship and
tolerance. It is an experience that builds strong character and
promotes physical, emotional and social development. Campers
learn about themselves, their strengths and what makes them
special, all while having FUN.
