Holy Trinity High School extends our sincere gratitude to Jane Sullivan and John Carlson for their generous donation of the Michelangelo Pietà Head of the Virgin marble replica sculpture from the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection.

As the proud parents of alumni David Sullivan Kaplan ’97 and Jennie Carlson ’14, thank you, Jane and John, for thinking of Holy Trinity and for sharing this extraordinary piece with our students, faculty, and visitors. Your generosity helps strengthen the connection between our past, present, and future generations of Titans.

Holy Trinity is grateful to Judy Galgano (’71), Advisory Board member and proud alumna, for her generous donation to reestablish our Legacy Wall.

This revitalized display will honor the accomplishments of past Hall of Fame inductees while providing a space to recognize the future Titans who will one day join their ranks. Thanks to Judy’s generosity and dedication to our school community, work on the Legacy Wall will begin this summer, with the completed project set to be unveiled this fall.

Thank you, Judy, for helping preserve our history, celebrate excellence, and inspire generations of Titans to come.

Holy Trinity High School is proud to announce that we have received nearly $400,000 from the Diocese of Rockville Centre Department of Education to support Catholic Excellence Awards for freshmen and sophomore students who graduated from DRVC Catholic elementary schools.

As part of this initiative, every graduate of a DRVC elementary school who enrolls at Holy Trinity High School receives a $2,500 Catholic Excellence Award. In addition, select high-achieving students are recognized with enhanced academic scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $7,500.

Now in its second year, the Catholic Excellence Awards program continues to strengthen the partnership between Catholic elementary and secondary education while making a Holy Trinity education more accessible for families across Long Island. Holy Trinity is deeply grateful to the Diocese of Rockville Centre for its continued spiritual guidance, generosity, and unwavering support of our students and school community.

On June 2, members of the Class of 2025 came together for a friendly Team vs. Team Golf Invitational at Cantiague Park. Organized by Henry Fagan and Michael Tuzzolo, the event brought together 12 recent alumni for an afternoon of competition, camaraderie, and Titan pride.

Once a Titan, Always a Titan!

The legacy of Holy Trinity alumni continues to make a lasting impact on today’s students.

Edward “Eddie” Cox, Class of 1977, embodied what it meant to be a true Titan. A National Honor Society member, Co-Captain of the Cross Country and Winter & Spring Track teams, and holder of multiple Holy Trinity track records, including an incredible 4:14 mile—Eddie excelled both in the classroom and on the track. He went on to earn an athletic scholarship to the University of Rhode Island, where he graduated with a degree in Pharmacy.

Following Eddie’s passing in 2021, his family, friends, teammates, and classmates established the Ed Cox Memorial Scholarship to honor his life and inspire future generations of Holy Trinity student-athletes.

Since 2022, more than $100,000 has been raised to support Holy Trinity track athletes. At Trinity’s Sports Awards Night on June 2, over $20,000 in scholarships was awarded to:

This scholarship is a powerful reminder of the impact our alumni have long after graduation. The generosity, dedication, and commitment of Holy Trinity graduates continue to create opportunities for current students and strengthen our Titan community.

It is important for our students to recognize that our alumni are more than former graduates. They are mentors, supporters, advocates, and living examples of what it means to carry Holy Trinity’s mission forward.

Thank you to the Cox family, Ernie Lustenring, George Taggart , his classmates, teammates, and all those who continue to invest in the future of our student-athletes.

With Graduation Mass and Commencement last Friday, the Class of 2026 officially closed an unforgettable chapter. Together, they celebrated their accomplishments, reflected on their journey, and took their final steps as students before beginning new adventures ahead.

Though they may be moving on to new campuses, careers, and opportunities, their place in our community remains forever. Congratulations, Class of 2026! Remember - Once a Titan, Always a Titan. 💚🎓
