Lee Avenue recently welcomed soon-to-be kindergarteners and their parents for a special Kindergarten Orientation held on May 28.

As the countdown to summer break begins, elementary students are celebrating with a variety of fun-filled activities that showcase their school spirit and create lasting memories with friends and classmates.

The Nassau County Police Department (NCPD) K-9 Unit recently visited Burns Avenue, giving students a chance to meet some of the department’s highly trained police dogs and learn about their important role in law enforcement.

The Hicksville High School Repertory Company presented its One Act Plays Festival 2026 on May 29 and 30 in the Charles “Chuck” Arnold Theater at Hicksville High School, performed in a theater-in-the-round setting.

Fork Lane students were invited to explore the cosmos through a portable planetarium, an enormous inflatable dome that immersed participants in the wonders of outer space, which was set up in the school’s gymnasium on May 26.
