Northview Middle School - PTA Northview Middle School's PTA will post information and updates via this page. You really don’t HAVE to do anything else (unless you want to).

The Northview PTA works to raise funds for teacher and classroom resources and technology, as well as various other worthwhile expenses such as landscaping, staff appreciation, school nurse supplies, student assistance for field trips, etc. Help Northview by joining the PTA – your membership dues are the foundation of our budget. You DON’T have to come to any meetings! You DON’T have to volunteer! However, there are BENEFITS to joining the PTA:
• Be notified about and have a voice in things affecting your child’s school
• Build your parent network and share information
• Help with decision-making, like how the funds are used
• Be able to vote on the PTA budget

PTA members have volunteer opportunities (volunteering is optional, NOT required):
• Work at the school store
• Contribute food for teacher appreciation lunches
• Help with the student uniform care closet (helps students who otherwise would not have clothes for school)
• Staff the cafeteria during lunches to give teachers a break
• Stuff backpacks providing weekend nourishment to students who are hungry
• Proctor during testing
• Assist with fundraising for much needed resources for our school

We invite everyone who wants to look for positive solutions to become a Northview PTA member. PTA enrollment forms are available in the office.

🩵 Our teachers were treated to something extra special today!

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at The Peanut House in Hickory for providing an absolutely delicious lunch for our Northview teachers—and to our Northview PTA for sponsoring today’s duty-free lunch!

Great food is always appreciated, but giving our teachers the opportunity to sit down, enjoy a meal, and have a little break in the middle of a busy school day makes it even better.

We are so grateful for community partners who choose to invest in our school and for a PTA that continually finds ways to support and encourage our teachers and staff.

Good food. Great partners. Appreciated teachers. 🩵
