Let’s come together this week to make our teachers feel extra special with a few simple, thoughtful gestures:

💗 Monday – Sweet Note Day
Bring a handwritten note, drawing, or card for your teacher.

🌸 Tuesday – Flower Day
Bring a flower you made or one from home.

🍪 Wednesday – Favorite Snack Day
Bring your teacher a small snack, drink, or treat.

✏️ Thursday – School Supply Day
Bring pencils, tissues, sticky notes, markers, or hand sanitizer.

😊 Friday – Smile & Thanks Day
Give your teacher a big smile, kind words, and tell them thank you!

✨ It’s the little things that mean the most.

We’re getting ready for another FUN and exciting Hawkfest at Northview! Think of it as a “big kid” field day—with outdoor games, activities, concessions, and even Pelican’s SnoBalls onsite. It’s a day our students look forward to, and we need your help to make it amazing!

We’re looking for parents to help run games, supervise activities, and keep things moving smoothly throughout the day.

‼️ Despite hundreds of community members showing up and each speaking for only 3 minutes (over 4.5 hours total!) The merger plan passed 3-2 last night.
🎤 THIS IS NOT OVER. 🎤

‼️ We need to demand a comprehensive independent study to protect our students’ programs, local control, and fair representation.

‼️HUNDREDS of educators, parents, students and community members showed up last night to plead for more time and an actual study before proceeding with a school district merger. Despite our pleas, the county commissioners passed the motion with a 3-2 vote. It’s not over yet, though! Here’s what YOU can do now! Please contact our state board of education members today!‼️

‼️The County Commissioner’s meeting is TONIGHT! It starts at 7pm, but please arrive early (6:30pm) and sign up to talk if you can (they cut you off at 3 minutes, so something quick and easy is great!). Even if you need to come late, please attend! We will be there and we need lots of faces in the audience to help us speak up for our community!‼️

The meeting will be at the Justice Center - 100 Government Dr, Newton, NC
