🌊 Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Our Mountaineers spent several days researching a North Carolina river basin, learning about the waterways and geography that shape our state. Students then created detailed models featuring major tributaries, reservoirs, and important geographical features before presenting their work to classmates.

Hands-on learning, collaboration, research, and a little creativity all came together! 🗺️💧🏔️

8th grade CTE has started exploring their new modules! Here are two of our newest Paxton Patterson modules, Food Services and Child Care. Students are engaged in real life activities that help them determine future career pathways.

Twenty-five years ago, following the tragedy of September 11, students at Arndt Middle created individual quilt squares that were collaged together into an American flag—a symbol of healing, remembrance, and unity for the students who lived through that day. Today, this memorial continues to connect generations of Warriors, giving current students an opportunity to learn about the impact that day had on our school community and our nation. 🇺🇸
