We're excited to kick off our annual Food Drive, running from Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 31! Bring non-perishable food items to the cafeteria at the beginning of the school day. All donations will be delivered to the Hickory Soup Kitchen to help support families in need. HCAM PTA Halloween Costume Contest – Donations Needed!

HCAM PTA is excited to be underway with another great school year! As always, we’re here to support our incredible faculty, staff, and—most importantly—our students.

We’re kicking off the season with HCAM’s Halloween Costume Contest, and we need your help to make it a sweet success! We are collecting candy and small prizes for the event, and your generous donations will help us celebrate our kids while showing a little extra love to the amazing people who make our school so special. Please send or drop off your candy and prizes by Thursday, October 30.

Park Clean-up: Join us for our annual HCAM Park Clean-Up from 12–2 PM on Saturday, 11/1, at Glenn Hilton Park. Friends and family are welcome to join us for lunch and a chance to give back through community service. Costumes are encouraged, and trash bags will be provided. Congratulations, Mr. Carr, for being chosen as the Spring 2025 Making a Difference award. Mr. Carr was surprised by Mr. Brown and Dr. Griffin in his classroom. His students gave him an enthusiastic round of applause as he was given a Making a Difference pin, a certificate, and two vouchers to a Hickory Crawdads game.
