On the last day of camp, we had a lot of rain. We sent out a message letting everyone know the camp would go on. I can’t tell you how impressed I was when every camper with the exception of one or two players showed up ready to go that day. We set up stations under sheltered areas and went out when the good Lord decided the rain would hold off for a while. What a great bunch of hard-working young athletes. Not only did the players have a good time, but all of our coaches showed up ready to go. We call days like that GAD DAYS which stands for get ahead days.

Our last camp is just around the corner. Be sure and get signed up this week by calling the Hickory Crawdads office. The camp is July 20 - 23 from 9:00am - 12:00pm daily. We look forward to seeing you out there. Team Christ, Matt Barkley
