Good evening. I've used DR Nickel Low Riders for several years but I found some Rotosound strings in a smaller gauge:
40 60 80 100. They've had gotten a bit out of whack over the last 20 years but these sound great.I'm gonna give a while longer to see if they can keep it going.

I acquired this amp (SWR Working Man's 15) at a local pawn shop. Loud and proud, and most important -- lightweight!

I've been off Facebook for a while, working with students, both new and regular. In that time I've managed to get some practice time in. I've been going through a lot of material from Joe Hubbard (see below). I was able to fill in a lot gaps in my knowledge.
I've got some slots for students (all ages and all levels) and I'm still offering a free demo lesson so that you will have a better idea about my teaching style. The lesson prices are the same as before - $20 per lesson via Skype, $25 per lesson in my home studio - same price for double bass.
