🐾❤️ A huge THANK YOU to Brayden, Jonathan, and Will from the City of Hickory, NC - Government Public Works crew for coming to the rescue of a kitten at Longview today! 🙌

The tiny kitten was trapped in the storm drain in the school parking lot. Brayden crawled on his stomach all the way through the drain in to reach the stranded kitten and bring it to safety! 💪🐾

We’re so thankful for community partners who show up when it matters most. Your kindness, courage, and big hearts make our community a better place! 💙👏

Thank you for being our heroes today - and for saving one very lucky little kitten! 🐱🏆🐾

Hickory City Schools will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

We hope our HCS students, staff, and families enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend!
