Congratulations to our Employees of the Month!

Mr. Holman serves as our head custodian. When SSHS gets a visitor we're always complimented on how great our students are and how great our building looks. With about 1400 people inside our school it's no easy task to keep it clean and maintained, however, Mr. Holman's leadership of a great crew makes it happen.

Kyle Lowman applies a team mentality beyond the football field. Before he was football and PE Coach Lowman he was Mr. Lowman, Math teacher. Coach Lowman has been a team player helping SSHS by teaching a couple of sections of Math in addition to his PE classes. This type of commitment to students and a successful educational environment are greatly appreciated.

SAINTS' SuperHeroes Stand Together, Shine Forever

SSHS counseling department sported inspirational wear of spreading kindness! Students have used this bulletin board in the background to write quick inspiring speeches to keep spirits high and spread support.

Congratulations to Mrs. Blaire Miller for being presented the Doyenne Inspiration award!

It was chosen from nominations for a mentor, volunteer or group that has helped promote the mission of Doyenne. Which is to help promote and encourage women in STEM from finding ways to improve engagement, increase team enrollment, doing outreach to encourage younger girls in STEM or setting an example of what is possible as future engineers and leaders.

Congratulations to Ms. Tracy Glover for being chosen as the CCS Beginning Teacher of the Month!  Ms. Glover teaches Health Sciences at SSHS and we're proud to have her as part of Our Tribe!

This year, the Tractor Shed Theatre teams up with Tommy’s Express Car Wash for a Tunnel of Terror. Get your car washed and get spooked at the same time—all for a good cause! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the United Way of Catawba County.

Powder Puff 2025 was a great game 🏈 📣

The SSHS Marching Indians competed at the 1st annual South Davidson Wildcat Classic this past Saturday. The band came home with 2nd place Colorguard in 3A and 4th place Colorguard among all bands with a score of 92! The band received a rating of Excellent on the day!
