Northlakes Academy Northlakes Academy Child Development Center serves families with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We have been a part of the community since 1981.

Northlakes Academy is a 5 star child development center dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for all the children and families we serve. We are a 5 star center whose purpose is to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children to learn and grow. USDA Nondiscrimination Statement

We wrapped up an incredible week celebrating NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child with one final spirit day… HAT DAY! 🎩🧢

If you’ve been following along with us this week, you already know just how much fun we’ve had! From wacky outfits to crazy hair, special activities, and lots of laughter, this week has been all about celebrating our amazing children and the joy they bring to our school every single day.

Today was also Celebrate Our Parents Day! We loved being able to show a small token of our appreciation with a to-go breakfast this morning.

Thank you to all of our parents who allow us to love on your babies each and every day. We are so grateful for the trust you place in us. It truly means everything. Your support, kindness, and partnership help make our school such a special place. 💛

🌈✨ If you’ve been following along this week, you’ve probably noticed just how busy (and FUN!) Week of the Young Child has been at Northlakes Academy! ✨🌈

Every year, this is a big week for our teachers. While NAEYC provides theme days, we love taking it a step further with a full spirit week—packed with special events for both our children and our staff.

Today may be Tie-Dye Day, but it’s also a day to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff of Northlakes Academy. 💛 To know these ladies is truly to love them. They show up each and every day with smiles on their faces, ready to teach, support, and love the children in our care.

We are beyond grateful for the dedication they pour into their classrooms. The joy they bring is undeniable—you can see it in the smiles of the children who adore them so much.

Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to attend Caldwell County’s Annual Week of the Young Child Dinner, where we heard an inspiring message that reminded us all why we do what we do. Our teachers truly spread joy everywhere they go, and their passion makes a lasting impact every single day.

Thank you to our amazing team for loving these children like your own. Northlakes Academy wouldn’t be what it is today without each and every one of you! 💙💛

We are celebrating day 3 of NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child by having CRAZY HAIR DAY! 🎉💇‍♀️💙

Today was all about creativity, self-expression, and a whole lot of fun! From wild colors to silly styles, our classrooms were full of smiles and laughter as everyone showed off their unique looks.

We love giving our children opportunities to express themselves and build confidence in who they are. Days like today remind us that learning can be fun, joyful, and just a little bit silly!

We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 💛
