Hello SSHS Class of 86!

We hope you are all doing well! Believe it or not, we are starting to plan our 40th class reunion! We are working on details for this big day! It will be in the Fall of 2026 in Hickory and we plan to host you and your guest for another fun weekend with Friday and Saturday night events!

This is the first year another class has reached out to us. Class of 85 would love to join ours to bring our numbers up and spread the fun.

Please help us by reaching out to those who we may not have on our list. All are welcome! This exciting weekend will be held in September or October of 2026. We will know more once we contact some venues – always keeping in mind that we want to keep our costs down.

I hope that you will join us for a relaxing and fun time to reconnect and see some friends from the past (Notice I didn’t say “old” friends?).

Hello SSHS Class of 1986,

Believe it or not it’s time to get together for our 30-year Class Reunion celebration! After feedback from many of you that you wanted to keep meeting every five years, we’ve put together an opportunity to see everyone again and have a great evening together.

Please mark your calendar for Saturday, October 1, at 7:00 p.m. at Catawba Springs Country Club off of Sulphur Springs Road. This is the first reunion we have hosted in our own ‘backyard’ so to speak. Registration and cocktails begins at 6:00 p.m.

A wonderful dinner will be provided at CSCC and through our committee working hard we’ve been able to keep the price the same as it was in 2011 at $35 per person or $65 per couple. A cash bar will be available for those who wish to enjoy adult beverages and there will also be a DJ set up for those who would like to dance and enjoy the night.

We want to thank Lori Huffman-Klingensmith for the opportunity for classmates to get together at her restaurant, Hams, on Hwy 321 on Friday night, September 30th. She’s graciously offering free hors d'oeuvres and all you have to buy is your beverage of choice. Those who came out last time had a fun night.

We ask that you RSVP by May 31, 2016 if you plan on attending or if you do not plan on attending. This will help us in our planning for the night.

This year we offer an opportunity to pay in installments if necessary for the celebration. You can pay $20 per person or $35 per couple between now and June 1.

We would then ask that pay your balance in full by August 31, 2016. We’ll keep receipts and can scan you a copy and will also have a hard copy of your receipt when you sign in for the reunion.

We hope you can join us at one or both of the nights this fall. Please spread the word with any of our classmates. We try very hard to make sure to reach everyone, but it doesn’t hurt for someone to get something twice instead of not at all.

Hi Everyone! We are meeting up at Ham's Restaurant on 321 this Friday night before our big night on Saturday. Lori Huffman is opening it up to us offering limited refreshments starting at 7:00. Come and mingle! It's casual, but if you are planning on coming Friday night, please let me know so I can get a general head-count for Lori. Dinner is at your own expense if you decide to eat dinner there.

We're excited about our big 25th class reunion Saturday night! Market on Main. Registration starts at 6:00. Call or email me with questions or haven't sent in your form/$ yet. Looking forward to seeing my old friends. Lala

We're finalizing details on our 25th class reunion coming in 2 weeks. Looking forward to seeing some friends from the past. Market on Main. Great food, open bar (wine/beer) for 2 hours, music and dancing. Should be a night to remember!

Dear Classmate,

I hope you are doing well today. I am writing to invite you to our upcoming St. Stephens High School Class of 1986 25 year class reunion. The reunion will be held on Saturday October 1, 2011 at Market on Main in downtown Hickory from 6:00 to Midnight.

Our evening begins at 6:00 PM with registration at Market on Main at 335 Main Avenue SW. Following registration will be an open bar offering beer and wine from 6:30 to 8:30. Dinner buffet will be served beginning at 7:30 and will offer a variety of entrees, vegetables, salads and desserts.

Your ticket is good for the entire evening including dinner, open bar for 2 hours (beer and wine only) and a DJ for dancing the night away with your friends. Tickets are only $30 per person and non-refundable. Deadline for purchasing tickets is September 1st. Please write your check to “St Stephens Class of 1986”. Please note that dress is semi-formal to business casual (no jeans please) considering that this is our 25th class reunion.
