Prayer for the school year ✏️

Lord,

As these children begin this school year, I pray that you surround each one of them with your love, protection, and guidance. Fill their hearts with love and compassion for others. Teach them to be kind, thoughtful, and willing to put others before themselves. When someone hurts them or does them wrong, help them to choose forgiveness over anger and love over hate. May they always remember to extend the same grace, love, and forgiveness to others that you so freely gave to us.

Thank you Lord for all our amazing teachers. Bless them as they pour themselves into these children. We pray that they will lead and guide these children according to your will.
