If you can stomp your feet or snap your fingers to the rhythm of a song on the radio, or if you can march, I can teach you to play the guitar.

I teach the same way I learned ... with 4 basic chords, learning to keep time and rhythm, playing Appalachian-Style Flat-Top Box Acoustic Guitar.

Rock-n-Roll, Country, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Mexican, Metal, even Meditation Music all use the same basics.

I will teach you various styles of rhythm, which chords go together so you can play in key, how to switch keys to play a song in a higher or lower pitch, basic scales, and even how to make up and play your own solos.

Depending on your needs and what you want to learn … I will teach you the Seven Primary Modes of Modern Music and their relationship with each other, use of bar-chords, finger roll patterns (as is used in classical, folk and banjo music), how to write songs, and if you like … meditation music.

I have successfully taught all ages, from 12 to 80 years old, how to successfully play guitar. There is no age boundary, and it is never too late to learn.

All sessions by appointment.

$78.00 per month for 30-minute class per week.

$130.00 per month for two 30-minute classes, or a one-hour class per week.
