📚Clyde Campbell Elementary's Meet the Teacher! 📚
🗓Date: Thursday, August 20, 2026
🕛 Times: We will offer two sessions:
--12:00-1:00PM
--5:30-6:30PM
You do not need to attend both sessions. If you have multiple children at Campbell, you are welcome to attend both sessions to meet with their teacher.
🚸Who: Grades 1st-6th
Families are welcome to attend either session to meet their child’s teacher, see the classroom, and receive important information about the upcoming school year.
⭐Kindergarten Families: Kindergarten parents will meet with their child’s teacher during Staggered Start Days to receive important information. Letters for the students with staggered start days will be mailed the first week of August.
🧑🏫Homeroom Teacher Assignments will be posted on ParentSquare on Wednesday, August 12.

"Hi! My name is Laura McLeymore, and I am excited to be joining Clyde Campbell to teach kindergarten. I have been teaching with Catawba County Schools for almost 20 years. I taught kindergarten for ten years and first grade for eight years. I live in Newton with my husband Justin and our three children, Ella, Grayson, and Maddox. In my free time I love to read, go to my kids ballgames, swim, and go antiquing. I look forward to a great year at Clyde Campbell."

Today we are welcoming a very familiar face to our 2nd grade team at Clyde Campbell! Let's give a huge welcome to Mrs. Jackie Haire!
Mrs. Haire has been an outstanding Teacher Assistant and Bus Driver at Campbell over the last 3 years, and now she is taking her first teaching role here at Clyde Campbell! She graduated from Appalachian State University this past spring, and will now continue with pursuing her master's degree.
Mrs. Haire, we can't wait to see what you will do! Welcome to the 2nd Grade Team!

🌟We're Hiring a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver! 🌟
Do you have a passion for inspiring young learners and creating a classroom where every child can thrive? We are seeking candidates who have a passion for assisting our teachers and inspiring our students. This is a dual position in which bus driving is attached to it. Bus drivers might have a permanent route, be a substitute driver, be asked to be a bus monitor, drive field trips, etc.

🎸 We dusted off our leg warmers, tutus, and neon shades, because Catawba County Schools just wrapped up the school year with an epic, '80s-themed employee celebration! 🕺✨
