Viewmont Baptist Preschool "Tree of Learning" is a Christian outreach ministry of the Education Department of Viewmont Baptist Church. The children will enjoy Chapel Time once per week lead by the Ministers of Viewmont Baptist Church. We are a Christian program based on the idea that play is the best way for children to learn. Each classroom is organized with centers for creative art, literature, science, pre-math, dramatic play, cognitive and small motor development. The environment is planned to stimulate imagination, creativity, socialization, exploration, and discovery. We celebrate children's own unique gifts, while encouraging each child to reach their highest potential. Our goal is for every child to develop an excitement and love for Jesus, learning, and school. Our Plans...
We look forward to having the ability to have licensed classrooms. This will allow us to offer extended hours to supplement our half-day program. Parents will then have the flexibility of bringing their children early in the morning and picking them up later in the afternoon. We plan to eventually provide special classes such as karate, tumble time, music, yoga, and science during the afternoon for extended day students. We believe that by providing these extra activities during the afternoon, families will be able to spend more time together in the evenings. We would like to use the latest technology in our classrooms without compromising the spiritual and loving environment the children need. Computers will be used in the older classrooms for teaching. We also want to provide tablet computers in the Transitional Kindergarten class. And as soon as we're able, we plan to install cameras in each classroom so that parents may observe their children during the day.
