We have the best volunteers! They help children read accurately and fluently!
Jim and Linda Nanney and Phyllis Smith trained as Augustine Literacy Project tutors in September 2021, and they have been tutoring striving readers ever since! In recognition of their commitment to students, we nominated all three for Catawba County United Way Giving from the Heart awards this year! Jim and Linda Nanney won the group award! We are so thankful for all three!

Join us for our monthly Tutor Information Coffee Hour and learn how you can make a difference in a child's life through the Augustine Literacy Project.

Our annual Tutor Appreciation Brunch is one small way we say thank you to the people who consistently show up for students week after week with patience, encouragement, and care.
