🚙 If you’ve driven past our campus in the hour before school began during the last few weeks, you may have seen Nahum Meister and Lauren Hickman hard at work preparing for a 5K that will take place at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on October 17! 🏃‍♀️🦼

💪🏻 Nahum and Lauren are wheels up and ready to conquer their first 5K as a team and they’ve made it their mission to support the Hope Allen Center for Exceptional Children along the way!

💵 Runway for Hope is a way to support the HACEC through financial gifts and prayer! This duo has set a goal to raise $10,000 for the programs of the Hope Allen Center.

☀️ What a morning! A generous anonymous donor has gifted the Hope Allen Center for Exceptional Children a running push chair, just in time for Nahum Meister and Lauren Hickman to continue their training for the upcoming 5K!

🎁 We were honored to present this beautiful surprise gift to Nahum and Mrs. Meister this morning.

🫂 Friends from Nahum’s classes were able to attend and a few of Mrs. Meister’s students joined Nahum for a trip around campus.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 is a day our students do not remember, but we will teach them about God’s faithfulness through this time in American history.

🙏🏻 Today we honor those that lost their lives and the countless heroes who stepped in to help and serve. We were thankful for the opportunity to remember, sing, and pray with our school family this morning!
